Each year in June we have the Fred Whitton Challenge Presentation Night, at which we celebrate the event, give prizes and present to the charities the money raised by the event.

The 2011 Presentation Night was on 23rd June at the Prince Of Wales in Foxfield, where cheques were presented to the charities. Since then further sponsorship has increased the total raised by the event to a record £80,000!, and the amounts given to the charities from this year's event are now:-

• £35,000 to Macmillan Cancer Support
• £20,000 to The Dave Rayner Fund
• £7,500 to Duddon & Furness Mountain Rescue Team
• £7,500 to North West Air Ambulance.
• plus a further £10,000 donated by riders themselves to special charities.

Many thanks to all who contributed to raising this superb total - to the riders, everyone who raised sponsorship for the event, to our sponsors Saddleback, and to all our volunteer helpers, who are the heart and soul of the event.
